Moving to the Mountains
I smell the rich soil
And the faintest hint of flowers
Green is all around me peaceful
I meditate for hours
Above the brown cloud of town
With its loud and hectic strain
I let go of the tension held
From living down there again
I wait, I wait, and wait some more
For the day I can stay all the time
In the verdant blissful bosoms of
Mother Nature’s gifts so fine.
