Legends

say--
near the edge
in black silence
is where you’ll find truth,

but that is where I found you.

As clouds dissipate
folded neatly within moom beams
shadows showed your true reflection,

the beast


with fangs bared
dripping with vengeance.

The only sound I heard
was the silent thunder of
my own heartbeat.

My only fear—
was that you would not come for me.

It's that animal instinct that we need in our lives. That beastly mannerism. Sometimes the tame isn't what we are craving, and it's clear here, that you are longing for something wild and wicked.
Now go tame the beast!
