The ghost haunts me every day,

The only way to exorcise an imbedded and bad memory of someone from the past Lori , is to find someone new in your Heart , the Right Person , who will exorcise the nightmares once and for all !!
Lori...this is well done...there is anguish here with some frightening overtones...the composition and flow is good. As to the question you pose...my experience is that you cannot exorcize the memories...but you can find a place to lock them away...but it is only a temporary measure. They always find a way back...or out.
