Give me a smile and a soft, gentle kiss.
Let me become lost - let me reminisce
of lazy summer days spent on your arm.
Sweet, comfortable slumber - heart knew no harm.

World...smile every once in a while.
Don’t fester with doubt or I’ll
never know how a true smile feels.
So, relax world. Let’s just live and be real.

Grab my hand, let’s walk the empty sands
of Time and watch the caravans
of emotions... Sweetheart, stay with me.
Trust our hearts to be wise and we’ll see

if a smile and kiss can survive in this world
or if I’m just a young and naive girl.

This exceptional six minute free write shows just how extremely good and natural a writer you are Lori !
For some reason it reminded me a bit of Rod Stewart's song " Young Hearts, Run Free ", full of life, energy and honesty !
