I know we have to say goodbye and go our seperate ways. But please hold onto my hand and help me through one day. The darkness is overwhelming. It's nothing I thought it'd be. My dreams have all frozen and my heart no longer drives me. Why did this have to happen? Why pronounce the word "Leave"? Is this some twist of ironic intent that to love is to lose and to grieve? Please...promise to stay with me only a few more hours and then we can move on in this life and find that other Where & When The night is so cold now. I feel at one with its embrace.
