How the emotions

Must rage within you,

As the twins volley

My heart back and forth

Across the net of confusion,

One twin looking at love

With the beauty of the heart-

The other with the wisdom of the mind,

One trying to find a reason

To believe and hold on,

The other finding a thousand

Reason why we shouldn’t be,

Both knowing that they are right

And neither one willing to back down,

Here I sit patiently on the sidelines,

An Aquarius, a dreamer, a planner-

Wondering what will be written

In the stars tomorrow or the next,

Knowing that this decision

Is completely out of my hands,

I also know that both decisions have merit

And no answer is the wrong answer,

But the dreamer in me

Hopes that one day the twins

Will both come to a consensus

And find a reason to love me,

Until that time I will love my sweet Gemini

And wait for the stars to line up.
