Well I must tell you , I was drinking with some of the boys in the star,
when this big mouth comes over to me and says
Who do you think you are ?

So I just lifted him up and broke the table in two
and then I said,
I'm a straight talking street walking man.
And people like you need your head read ."

He slowly got to his feet and said
“Well you’re a man of action I see .“

He pointed his finger to the bar and he said
All the drinks are on me .“

Now Jigger Magee called for order
As a crowd rushed over to the bar ,
One by one Topper took the orders as the people flocked into the star .


As I stood back in the corner there I saw your man heading for the door
There was a scuffle as I grabbed him and his blood was all over the floor.

I looked at him and said
“ Here you’re paying for these drinks . Do you understand
He said
“I am sorry to have bantered a straight talking street walking man”
