If the cost of loving you is getting hurt , what should I do ?
I must face up to the facts of what I know now to be true .
Well I could walk out the door and say I don’t care anymore ,
but how could I live alone with a heart of stone , furthermore ,
how could I ever forget all the children that God has gave ,
and the love we’ve shared are more than plastic flowers on a grave .
Oh but for love sweet love that walks and talks I refuse to go .
Love is something that I heard in a song a long time ago .
All that we do in love comes back to you so I’m coming back .
In the echoes of a song , the love between us I respect .
Here I am with these words from my heart and I’ve come to reclaim
the language of love and I know things will always be the same ,
because in a word love is the best thing life has given me ,
and as long as I live I will hold on to our love tightly .
I will fight for our love and protect what our love has become .
Love is more than a word and it’s something shared by more than one .
