Truth is the Word
By Paul McCann
.
In a place where truth is sought ,
and where good and bad have fought
There's a place for God and man
With the raising of a hand ,
And the falling of a sword
And As the truth is out poured ,
There's a whisper of a prayer
For the angel there to share
With God the almighty Judge
To remove all that won't budge
To allow justice and truth
To act as witness and proof
And protect the innocent
And as the guilty are sent
For their time of punishment
And maybe time to repent
The things that they've said and done ,
God will always overcome
His will be the final word ,
After the court has been heard .
