Love Struck - By Paul McCann
.
The first time I saw her she was walking with her friends.
I asked her could she swap some time maybe that weekend,
then suddenly something happened
and it felt kind of weird a light
fell down around us,
and everyone disappeared .

I was Love struck by a bolt from high above and the next thing I knew,
I had fallen in love .
Love struck me down
and took my hand .
I’m trying to explain to you
I hope you understand .

Love struck from the sky above my head to the ground beneath my feet and straight into my heart and soul ,'
now I feel so completely love struck .

So there we stood together
with no one else around ,
I can’t tell you how or why but I couldn’t hear a sound ,
except for her voice that softly spoke to me in that corridor I knew I’d found my destiny .

I was Love struck by a bolt from high above the next thing I knew I had fallen in love .
Love struck me down
and took my hand .
I’m trying to explain to you
I hope you understand .
Love struck from the sky above my head
to the ground beneath my feet and straight into my heart and soul
now I feel so completely love struck .
The next time I saw her we were sitting side by side ,
singing all those love songs our feelings could not hide .
For when its true love
there’s nothing to fear
because when you see your destiny, everything is clear

I was Love struck by a bolt from high above
the next thing I knew I had fallen in love .

Love struck me down and took my hand .
I’m trying to explain to you I hope you understand .
Love struck from the sky above my head
to the ground beneath my feet and straight into my heart
and soul now I feel so completely love struck .
