After the lockdown came and went
I remembered just how much it meant
to do the ordinary things we did
back in the days before COVID .

We’re on the sky road once again
to faraway places on a plane.
travel revenge is going to fall,
where the sun shines on us all .

Shine , shine , before the sun is gone

We’re doing our best to survive
Sure is good to be alive.
I wouldn’t be dead for quids
Put in a box and mark it COVID’S.

Shine on , shine on .
