She’s sleeping finally
I was afraid this time that she would burn out
Before she burned down
Anyone who thinks that ‘burning the candle at both ends’
Is just a cliché
Hasn’t been around her when she is manic
Its like she is afraid
There are only limited words to say
And she needs to say them
Limited time to live…
Well…
But she’s finally asleep
And I’m here to watch over her
I know she thinks I hate her
And yeah
Sometimes she embarrasses me
But I envy her energy
Her zest
Her heels
Yeah those two pair of flats at the end of the closet
They’re mine
One white pair, the other black
What more do I need
I’m not her
I can’t write as fast and sexy
I can’t flow thru
Emotions like words on the page
I can write
Of course I can
I know we aren’t really two people
And most times she does too
But
I can’t write like she does
And I wouldn’t try
I’m here to protect her
To watch over her
While she rekindles the fires
That makes her burn
Who am I here to protect her from?
Why…
Herself of course
Who else?
So Shhhhhhhh let her sleep
She’ll be back

u r all so sweet, when really i'm sure u r thinking 'this broad is outa her tree' haha my multipersonalities are just in fun, although my personality goes thru so many cycles, even my family believes there are two of us, at least. (and between us, they don't send HER invitations to family gatherings either)
