All Saints Day

1. You have come into our lives
And helped us sort out all the strife
We thank you for your special care
And tender love you show and share

Sometimes life’s a bitter pill
But we can take it and trust His Will
We must confess and share our pain
The peace that comes will keep us sane

CHORUS: Benedict, the XVI, we love your smile
Its shows your heart and gentle style
You’re the Pope, but more a friend
With Christ we’re partners till the end

2. John Paul the Second chose you for his right hand
To help spread the Gospel throughout all the land
The Catechism and other works reflected your zeal
To lead the Church and feed us with the Eucharistic Meal

The Holy Spirit chose you as Vicar of the Lord
To guide the faithful and to make the Church restored
May we follow you as Servant of the fold
And carry our crosses that Christ wants us to behold - CHORUS

3. At Church we meet on higher Holy Ground
Fed by His Word with Breaking Bread He is found
The Wounded Healer hears our needs
And sends us forth to do His Deeds

So may our walk along the Way
Strengthen us for the coming day
