Love and Peace Forever More

                  Snow Globe
              [One Size For All]

Snowflakes starred all through the night.
Town a snow-globe, glittering white..
Trees wear toboggans.  Feel so light
Waking up to peace.  So right.
 
Don't you just love a Christmas village
That as if by magic spells joy?   Houses
Are small to make room for ponds and trees?
Snow falls for angels, and nobody plows?
 
Tell with one look all the villagers share,
Be it jacket, cap, sleigh, or an apple pie.
All kids, racing to play in apple-crisp air.
Work feels like play,  all on holiday -- Hi!
 
Street lamps preen in ruby-bowed wreaths.
Mad dashes for carrots, buttons, and hats.
Much rifling for vanilla for snow cream,
Then it's all out again like a flash.
 
Can't miss the parade.  School band will play.
Clowns will clown, and the mayor will bray.
Be even better than last year, they say.
Sure glad we fixed that stubborn sleigh.
 
Here it is all about celebrating, so come,
No matter what you believe -- keep in mind
That all great religions call for love.
Not just on holidays, but all the time.
 
So grab something warm and come sashay
Through the snow.  Or we'll sit a spell.  So pretty.
Need to do something to see this village stays.
Cure Earth of the small, the ugly, the petty.
 
Meantime, space out on the diamonds reflect
From the ice.  Puffs of white are angels' breath,
Cedar, pine, and baking smells exactly correct.
