Recently translated from hitherto unknown cuneiform tablets is the Hymn entitled "We Give Our Lives And Live For Knowledge" that was sung at the conclusion of High Minister Reu-Nathor's presentation and mission announcement at the end of Chapter 2 of "The Days Of Peleg".
We Give Our Lives and Live For Knowledge
From fires deep beneath the oceans,
Whence came all Life and Mind appearing,
To realms and planes beyond Margidda,
Whose wisdom we are ever nearing.
We give our lives, and live for Knowledge,
Our Minds and Bodies sacrificing.
Objective and deductive is she:
Revealing all; her paths enticing.
The inner wanderers behold we,
Two phases, transits, speeds displaying.
Four outer worlds go forth and backwards
Along ecliptic plane relaying.
