He must have been precious! My Daddy is still with us, but every time a friend loses her father, it reminds me how precious he is to me. So beautiful and so full of love - beautiful, Molly!

Your Dad in the end may have lost his memory but he has given you a life time of memories.
A wonderful trubite to clearly a much loved Dad.
Molly this brought tears to my eyes. I just lost my Daddy last November, I miss him so much and although I know he is happy where he is, those of left behind miss his humor, and his smile.
I was very much touched by this. My father is getting old before my eyes too and one too...all too soon, I will be "remembering Daddy." Wonderful tribute and write. ;) Silver
Molly, this simple script of love tore into the depths of my soul. The loss of a parent is difficult at best. Yet our memories of them are the only thing tangible that remain...if a memory can even be considered tangible. I buried my mother four years ago today...and suffice to say...memories for me are indeed tangible...this is a beautiful write.
An earnest tenderness here, Molly. My parents are both living but of an age that causes me to dread phone calls in the late hours. I cherish each moment I have now.
Great tribute to your father. I see from your Bio that for sure there was a strong family bond and I guess as we age that we lose part of the bond physcial when one leaves but the spiritual part remains to get the family bond strong or if not stronger,

Isn't it great to look back and have such wonderful memories? Your relationship must have been special. I am can imagine that it still hurts. But be thankful for what you had-a very special dad.
Molly...you know how precious and special this tribute is...you have captured in beautiful verses those emotions released in memories with a grand love.

This works pretty well. The first two lines feel strange with that half rhyme. Feels like it doesn't qute fit. But then I am not a poet. I got pitched out of a poetry clas in fact, so who am I to say
