A very positive note this poem ends with, and the unlocking of door, breaking of chains are all indicative of the internal turbulence that needs to break free...A very good work, Linda!
This poem is so multi-faceted; it could mean so many things. A great write that (to me) has the poet extending a hand and lovingly encouraging someone who has been flattened by life or people or circumstance to take another chance.
