Did you just get out of bed
Holding to your aching head
Did you just have a fight
With your girlfriend last night
Everything is going wrong
No one seems to get along
Couldn't sleep the whole nite through
I'm sending this HUG for you

Are you lost and all alone
Not one person to call your own
Are you the woman wiping a tear
Or the man whose death is near
Are you just lonely, and need a friend
It seems lifes battles will never end
When happiness is way overdue
I'm sending this Hug for you

When worries always weigh you down
And silence is a lonesome sound
When everyone has left your side
All you have is just your pride
When shadows loom and hearts break
When there is no give and take
When things go wrong whatever you do
I'm sending this HUG for you

Isn't great how poetry is as effective nearly a month later as it was the day it was posted! Beautiful write, I've been behind on my reviews and have been playing catch up this week! You've touched me deeply with this write my friend, it's penned from the heart and soul! This would make a wonderful greeting card, suitable for most any occasion! Bravo, enjoyed!
