How very true - things are NOT always what they seem. We paint a pretty picture to make things "seem" okay to the outside world, and when we come back into our four walls, all hell breaks loose. This is so sad, Linda but no one writes and expresses the sad poems more beautifully and with any more dignity. I once felt like the woman in your poem, oft times suffering from depression, but I find strength in my writing and my friends. Take care and God bless you for your kind words and kind heart.
