This poem is dedicated to a very special brother-in-law who just lost he precious father.....I didn't know his father very well, but well enough to recognize a beautiful soul and a loving, doting father. I can imagine him saying these words to his wife and five sons.....for you, Bobby...

Don’t Weep For Me Don’t weep for me… For not even death can separate us! Remember me, but not with tears… For we have known great happiness! Beloved family, as in life I cherished you… So I will love you beyond death! It was time for me to leave… And I was ready for my journey into eternity! No more pain and suffering… For you or for me! You see my body grew old and weary… And my soul longed to be set free! Release me now, but never let me go… Keep me in your heart, where I have always been! My life was a good one… Because you made it so! I counted my blessings daily… Never losing sight of my most precious gifts – my family! But my place now is among the stars… Look to the heavens when you need me! In every breeze that makes the trees shiver… I will whisper words of encouragement! Cherish every flower, listen to the birds, feel nature’s embrace… She has always held my spirit a willing captive! When your heart is troubled… Don’t let sadness weigh you down! Stand beside a pristine lake, or in the forest… And feel my presence there! Speak to me as in the past… For I will still be listening! Live your life to the fullest… Making every moment of every day count! Rejoice in life’s simplicities… Family, friends, and all of nature’s gifts! Love one another unconditionally… I have left part of me in each of you! Do your best to make the world a better place… And know that I watch over you always! Don’t weep for me… For my life has come full circle! Celebrate the life we had together… I have left you so much more than tears! One day your journey will bring you to me… And I will be waiting with open arms! I will prepare the way for you But until that day… Don’t weep for me. Remember me with happiness! For you know in your hearts I would not bring sadness upon you! Let your hearts be content… Knowing I am at peace And I never really left you! © Annabel Sheila
