On that horrible morning, Anna, my wife, who was bedridden, called me into her room to see the amazing sight of the second plane slamming into the second tower. I do not have to go into our feelings at that time as they were and are as all Americans. I had work to do on that day. My wife asked if I was going to go to work, I said, If I don't go to work, they win. I went to work.
I'll never forget or forgive.

Like the Assasination of Kennedys, Martin Luther King, the first steps on the moom etc,the dropping of the Bomb etc. 9/11 changed not only the United States but the rest of the world as well and sadly it will never be the same again no matter what.

I'm afraid way too many people have overcome the terror that fateful day gave them, and hardly think of it. Far too many believe President Bush was behind the planes that day. We have, once again, become a complacence nation. Shame, shame on us.

You poem was right on, Anna, but a large majority of the country isn't in tune with your thoughts. I sincerely hope that I am wrong.
