Just when you think you've gotten over someone and moved on seeing that person propose to another is more than your heart can take...
MORE THAN MY HEART CAN TAKE (January 11, 2012) I’ve long forgotten the tears That spilled from my eyes like raging rivers Whenever I thought of days without you Or reminisced about the days we’d shared I’ve long moved on from everything you meant to me From what we were and what we’d been through When you were present in my life But now that I find you with another Now that I find you on one bended knee Asking her to share your future And her saying yes with overflowing happiness As she kisses you with a sweet passion The tears spill once more like raging rivers And everything comes flooding back to me like a tsunami I wish for her to be washed away with the tide For you to be left standing on one bended knee Proposing to thin air Because having her there Is more than my heart can take Copyright © 2012 by Lena Kovadlo

Know this feeling only too well as it's a very recent event for me. You express it exactly as it is and I can only sympathise. The only way to quell such sorrow is by way of distance ...as many miles as possible.

Your ability with the English language is to be commended. If only I could grasp french as firmly.

There is no way to stop feeling for someone in any easy way. The hurt is greater sometimes than what we can bear but we must move on with our lives as soon as we realize they were not worth our time. You wrote of this quite well, Lena. I also see that English was not your natural language but it is commendable how well you write it.

This is very powerful meaningfully and emotionally. I wish I could fix it. I think you deserve better. It is fine for people to say that we should not let another "mean so much" but it just happens. I've been there and done that. I just wish you goodness and healing, Lena. ☻��

I think we have to come to the conclusion rapidly that no one person should ever hold such sway over our heart.
It is not good or healthy for us.
