Why I love to live where I live

Colours of Cairns
 
Relaxing on the piers boardwalk
Enjoying a coffee from Piccolino
As on the Big-cats people board
Then across the blue ocean they go.
 
Blue-ish distant mountain ranges
A back drop in azure skies
Lush green rainforests
Where the rainbow Lorikeet flies.
 
Visual beauty of the Great Barrier Reef
Endless walks along golden sand
Crystal droplets sparkle in morning sun
Ulysses butterfly, their brilliance so grand.
 
There are always the colours of Cairns
Like red sunsets full of splendour
Fond memories are now embeded
Of your far north’s great adventure.
