Conversations
fall suddenly still.
Jack's back at the bar,
hunting for Jill.
Faces turn away,
hiding their stares.
It's just not polite to
show that you care.

for a lost soul drifting at sea
through his memories--

Last he saw her,
he bought her a drink.
They danced until dawn
forging a link.
They went to her place
but that was last week
She's been out of touch. Jack
don't know what to think.

He's a lost soul drifting at sea
through his memories--

Down by the docks
wrapped up in a sheet,
They find what's left
minus hands and feet.
The police say she put
up a hell of a fight,
Looks like it's going to be
another long night.

for lost souls drifting at sea
It's a quarter to three--

The Lady-killer
has murdered again.
reporters on camera
all sware it's a sin.
The streets are not safe
What can anyone do?
The psychopathic stranger
maybe sitting next to you!

Adrift like a lost soul in a sea
of humanity--

Outside the bar
Jack is really drunk.
already, he smells like
a road-killed skunk.
A cold dread takes him
as he reaches for his keys,
There's a hand in his pocket
he falls to his knees.

He's a lost soul drifting at sea
through new memories--

Your ending took me by surprise! Was it an alcohol-induced blackout? Creepy, but also wonderful! Off of my 2 *hands*, 2 thumbs up! Write on!

The Steel Chains of Love by Rose Rideout

I have taken pride in writing this novel as so many people have the wrong impression on bikers because they dress in leather clothing which is to protect themselves in case of an accident. The majority of bikers are known Policemen, Firemen, Doctors,
