It was take-your-daughter-to-work day
so the wife went on a shopping spree,
and Professor Edge had cindy along
to see all that she could see.
In a secet research center,
under a brand new Burger King,
High tech toys for high-tech boys
let them do their egg-head thing.

Someone was asleep at the switch,
the accellerator hit warp speed.
An implosion of cosmic particles
created a continuum feed.
A vortex danced across the lab,
strobing all the while,
as everyone spun down a quantum
rabbit hole in an impromptu style.

Now some say they left the universe
for a multi-dimension of Earth.
Some think they flush the time stream out,
landing before their birth.
But truth be known, it wasn't that simple;
they skreeched and screamed as they fell,
and somehow or another they managed to hit
one of ten-thousand Chinese Hells.

Bob, the supream evil one, chuckled and
set his dark hoard to hunt intruders.
Flying fish swarmed, breathing fire, as
Professor edge grabbed his daughter
They ducking for cover as others died,
and Cindy played her pocket Nintendo,
Professor Edge swiped it, rewiring the game,
and created a sub-space window.

By lunch time they were safe on Earth
or at least a fair rendition--
prowling the streets for fast food to mend
a serious starving condition.
The professor wanted nachos or
a slice of pepperoni pie.
Cindy wanted a ceasar salad, ageeing most firmly
to skip the Shushi guy.
