Electric blue,
Your eyes
graze my flesh
they raise
a storm of ions,
a phantom touch,
like the last wind
in the world.
Soft light slides
along steel limbs.
she takes a glass
in claw-like hands
40-W oil darkens
soft, synthetic lips
I long to kiss
by candle light.
"You look beautiful,"
I tell her.
She hums gently to herself
in subtile satisfaction.
her voice is warm, modulated,
"Care to take a look under the hood?"
I tremble.
Heaven!
"Thought you'd never ask."
