Somewhere,
just a vibration away,
in an overlaping
continuum
 I pause  between
destinies,
 in the shade
 of jade forest.
 Above me,
 a magenta sky.
 Scarred moons fade
 as a cool blue sun
 seeps upward
 through  indigo hills.
 Crowned with
 lapis thorns,
 The howler plants
 scream praise,
 greeting the dawn,
 pausing only
 to harpoon
 their breakfast.
 I adjust my bastard blade,
 Skull shield on my back.
 The duo-corn beneath me
 stamps a clawed hoof,
 snickering softly.
 Another quest begins,
 another kingdom waits
 to be won.
 My sword thirsts.
 I nudge my mount
 out of obscurity,
 into the the domain
 of legend.
