When you sing your songs
While smiling at me
My negativity melts away
When your kindness evolved It touched me in so many ways
A frown turned into a smile
When we speak of life There are so many degrees Yet what I see is in front of me...
Itis you, trying to change my attitude
To change my outlook on life
Give me sound advice
You take the gray away

this poem feels locked to me, though, for it keeps silent of emotions; only a description but in different shades of gray, plus black.
