She had met her In a cafe Paris, France City of love... Long, long ago When things Were appreciated And women were s l o w They left the cafe Arm in arm- Passed by The ' Eiffel Tower ' She and I went to a hotel That you paid by the hour Clothing strewn all over... That first kiss---mindful

The first kiss is always mindful
it stays with you when it has substance
I do wish our world was not so fast paced
that women and men were appreciated to those
earlier times and romance was at its height
