Body disfigured spying a graceful sigh
The mirror reflected a body ill refined
Eyes dreamlike of illusory kind
Each bite I swallow I vomit pride
As a scorned psyche soiled thee blind
False piety toiled inside
Thy will is to mask an oblivious tide
Surrendered to sleep this cutting remind
Much too weak to snicker a cry
Blame perceived a body of wide
Led to believe the delicate lies
In an infirmary of shallow tis where I hide
Imparting a spoil of a sacred kind
Fasting in purity sanctioned to die
Transporting deeper into the pits of mind.
