It would be neat To beat the heat.

Today, I want to beat the heat Cooler days would be a treat. So now I sit on blocks of ice And should I move, I'd pay a price. For every calorie I burn Seems to make my body turn Its thermostat to ninety-eight To Hell's hot flames, I can relate. But next December, snow will come And I will feel so really dumb. Nice little poem Henry, and all too true, when it's hot we wish it was cooler and when it's cool we wish it was hotter, just can't win sometimes can you?

You think it's hot there, come to Texas...or North or South Dakota...or California ('though they've cooled off, I hear...when's it gonna be OUR turn??) DANG, but me biskets are burnin'!!!!!!!!! Good write. Now: why did you review yourself with a blank review? LOL
