Santa Claus is back in town
And the decorated trees,
Inspire every Christmas thought,
With Christmas memories.

For I remember as a child,
On Christmas Eve I’d feel,
The excitement of the coming day,
‘Cause Santa Claus was real.

Well now I know the gospel truth.
It was only mom and dad
And everything beneath the tree,
I was gettin’, good or bad.

So knowing all the love it brings,
I continue to pretend,
Up on the housetop, reindeer and all.
"It’s Christmas time again!"
