All My Mother's Children: Sacred Journey

We had traveled far and wide,
Scattered among the earth,
Now we gathered at the river’s edge,
Lost and confused…

And though they had chosen me
To lead them,
I only knew the path,
That led to the cavern of dreams-

Art knew the hidden trail
That led to our secret fears,
It was the only road he had
Traveled on.

And Donna Jean would only lead
In the dark of night,
Lighting the way
With the fiery stars
That blazed in her blue-black hair…

Dear Sister Jeri,
Held her self in close,
Would never speak,
If she could have chose.

Gentle Rosemary,
Merely stood by trembling,
Inert with fear…
Hiding behind,
Those she loved so dear…

So at the last
It was Paula we followed…
Down that dark and dreary road,
This journey,
We dared not take alone…

Even Diana,
Lone and proud,
Could not resist her charms…

And when her journey led us
To the meadow vast and wide-
We knew we had chosen well…
For here was the place
All my mother’s children
Had ran to in our escape from hell.

It was then we finally rested,
For our journey was over.
Here in the Valley of Hope…
In the sacred land of our birth,
Where so many had been laid in the earth…

We sat upon their graves,
And talked and sang,
And remembered their names…

We drew our memories around us,
Like a worn winter shawl,
And it sufficed to keep us warm
Until the winter thaw…

Drawn together by the
Call of our blood,
We became one…
In that beautiful valley,
Under the pale winter sun…

this hassuch sadness but such happiness for it has under reflection(Uhhm did I say that rightLOL) of abused children again trying to escape the world. But it also has the view of those afraid of their heritage tryting once more to confront that fear and remember where they came from) either way this was a wonderfull and excellent pome

"All My Mother's Children: Sacred Journey"

Is the Voice of Togetherness in the Wilderness of Understanding. Its message requires a good digestation, so I will read it again.

My respect to You, Master Retta Mckenzie.
