The (Almost Perfect) Computer

Another dream another scheme
From a brain I thought was dead
Another notion without commotion
About a space-time flower bed.

Why did it happen even I don’t know
But I had the ultimate computer
This little jewel the perfect tool
Was a streamlined space commuter.

Launched to Mars thence to the stars
It contained a CPU
With more desire and sheer brainpower
Than a million of us do.

It scooped up rocks with lightning speed
Then analyzed them in a storm
And spit things out without a doubt
Into earthlike shape and form.

From here on Earth I watched in awe
As sand became beaches and sea
With waving trees and gentle breezes
You won’t find on Capri.

In hours not years the landscape changed
From rocks and barren soil
To vast blue skies a paradise
And things that never spoil.

From Earth to Mars then to the stars
To all the universe
A transformation so heavenly
Things for the better not worse.

There was a flaw amongst it all
It clearly will assail ya
I looked and looked but could not find
Someone with genitalia.

Back to sleep perchance to dream...

The ultimate computer,
was almost alive.
It had no genitalia,
but a working hard drive.

Just my kind of computer you found,
And you found her on a beach,
As long as she stayed within my reach,
She could probably without to much coaxing,
Definitely for me & to me, a thing or two, teach...-e-

That little CPU looks complete from here. But then, I don't know "gentle" from "tail Ya."

Cute ditty and cute kitty…

You had me going there...At first it sounded like the plot for a Star Trek movie, then WHAM!!! you sneak it in at the end. You asre, in the best sense, incorrigible.

Take care,

A very very witty piece with a great ending. Make me think and made me laugh. That is good.
