Insurance companies are always coming up with new forms of insurance that nobody wants. It takes a lot of creative skill to produce the sales literature that might persuade you to buy their latest policy. Here is my submission to the 24-hour medical evacuation assistance insurance people about how to perk up their currently dreary sales literature intended to persuade you to buy medical assistance insurance while traveling anywhere in the world (all in fun, of course).

Emergency Assistance Program
Come one come all
Be ready for that fall
We’ll pick you up when you’re down and out
Just give us a jingle no need to shout
We’re just like you broken bones and all
Texting while driving and hitting the wall.
Our medevac choppers are up 24/7
We’ll patch you up or fly you to heaven
Heading for Alaska to Sarah Palin land?
We’ll track you like an eagle till you can’t stand
Our EMT crews really love to booze
They juice it up good then take a snooze
So drive till you’re tired then drive some more
Drive a little faster, hell put ‘er to the floor
‘Cause you’re covered my friend
From your head to your toes
We’ll repair your car and replace your clothes
While we’re flying your body up in the air
We’ll give you a tour it’s all in the fare
To speed things up we’ll parachute you down
Guaranteed to land you somewhere in town
It’s not about you it’s all about us
No pain no gain no problems no fuss
Sign on the dotted line and send us your dough
Our account’s outta money and our liquor supply’s low
We also smoke and we love to chew
And we love to mess around with them that do
You know…pretty much like you.
So c’mon, we don’t cost a lot
Are we friends, buddies, pals…or what?

That was a real hoot! But the reality of it is quite scary.
I once bought "lifetime" insurance from an unknown company. Six years later, when I tried to cash in, I learned that the company selling the lifetime insurance only lasted a year. I'm sure all the premiums went to a good cause.

for every catrastrophe.
I'm money poor but insurance rich,
after I've paid the fee.
I have my peace of mind.
My insurance is worth a mint.
But when I thought I was covered,
They said, "You should've read the fine print".
Loved it!
