This speaks to me of Enlightenment. The kind I experienced when I finally broke free of the false identity forced upon me by family who could not accept me as I am: smart, strong, creative, and unique in so many other ways. For some reason these aspects of who I am mystified or perhaps even frightened them. I was the proverbial cuckoo in the wren's nest. So I was "dumbed down" to a more comfortable persona. But the day came when I, my Self, finally accepted who I really was and as you described so wonderfully I was filled with awe at the colors and sounds and emotions that swirled out from my very essence. To go back now, if even possible, would destroy me all together.
I have created alot of people that weren't real via acid & such, but I cannot remember them now so you are better off enjoying their company as it sounds you are already doing...-e-
Thgis reminds me of my poem "The Agony of Lust". What you have here is an intense romp through the fields of passion and desire. I love your phrase "if you were not real I would have had to invent you." We could say that about a lot of things. Nice work. John
A world of steam and springs. A breakneck race for power. Will one woman's defiance topple a kingdom? If you like feisty heroines, fearsome dragons, and fast-paced action, then you'll savor this steam-powered thrill-ride.
