That lady has such grace and style,
Boy I wish I had her smile.
Her loveliness is for all to see
Oh, God why can't that be me?
I wish I had her confidence and joy,
I bet she can have any boy.
Her love of self is unbeatable,
Oh, I wish it was easily reachable.
Her beauty no one can deny.
On her knowledge and wisdom, I will rely.
My fate is a blister;
Please let her help out a sister.
Maybe she'll show me the book where self love is written.
So then everyone will be smitten
By my confidence and self love.
Then maybe I can fly freely like a dove.
Loving one's self is perhaps the hardest thing to do, but once it is done it is indeed the greatest power one can possess.

True, but as long as you're fine & in tune with yourself, thats' all that matters, right? U can't look good 4 everyone, some like the inside just as much as the outside.
Excellent write.Have a question for you please contact me. Thanks

You know.. one day when I was about 35 I sat down with my sister for a serious talk.. And was so amazed to find that all the times I was envying her.. she was wishing she was me. Funny how life is sometimes.. Wonderful poem, excellent message. Welcome to the Den..
