Your pain lives within me
Everything you once saw, I now see
Great beauty definitely has its fee.
We never got a chance to meet,
Yet, we share the same destiny
The fate of an empty soul
A loneliness that causes an unfilled hole
While prettiness takes its burdensome toll
Half a woman striving to be whole.
Your thoughts are mine
We share the same lane
There's always anguish in what's fine
Bringing an end to what we know is sane.
My ears burn from their words too!
Beauty but no brains
Blood but no veins
The mark of beauty's bloodstains
I wash but I can't erase
the feelings that I'm a waste
If they could see the person behind the face,
and sample this bitter taste
Of bittersweet beauty
that comes with an insane duty.
