It's a little early but I couldn't resist the challenge of a rhyming acrostic.
Happy Halloween (rhymingacrostic 2007)
How will you come through the night?
All you’ll see in the moonlight
Peering through the ghostly mist;
Piercing eyes that can’t be missed;
You will scream with unbound fright.
How are you tonight my friend?
Ah! I feel it is the end.
Listen quietly and hear;
Laughing witches whom I fear.
Oh! Look by the graveyard fence.
Who are those grim, ghostly gents?
Ebenezer, Ichabod;
Even Blackbeard is abroad.
Now they’re about to maraud.
Not fully perfect in flow but still a nice story-like poem. I imagine this poem being acted out on a little stage somewhere with kids gathered around to watch.

This is such a good halloween story that I can share with my young grandchildren. Unless of course mom and dad decide it might be to spooky, then I'll just give them some candy.
