What is this invisible feeling called love? Why does it drive us mad when it's not mutual and causes us to crave more of this invisible feeling? I talked to a good friend who just celebrated her birthday. She said all I wanted for my birthday was a big hug. She got many hugs after our church service was over. So her love comes from Godly people because her man has up and gone. Amen my friend.

But... patience never rewarded still doesn't take away the love.
And... one-sided love never works.
I've recently become more patient - but the past had shown me to be impatient quite a lot. So, you're right - it's a combination of "love" AND "patience." Of course, sometimes one-sided love is all there is. Should you wait, in hopes that it might change? Or move on? If you know that she loves you for certain... then wait; but, if you know it's over, move on. -- Jeff

This poem indicates there some secret reason why you, "can't." So my best advice is to stop worrying about it and move on. Like they say in the Pacific Northwest, "there's a lot more salmon in that river."

I wish I had the words to relieve the turmoil
& dispel the myths that bind you??
But I have never been in your shoes!

Sometimes we have to completely release our heart and let go of someone before we can ever have a chance at love, again. If you are holding on to someone else and hoping it will, once again, become the love affair you once believed it to be, you will never have a place in your world for the next true love who is waiting to be with you.
