I'm so sorry for her loss of life, which shouldn't have been. Sometimes it seems not fair at all! At least she is pain-free now.

Singing is so spiritual that I believe you and a special bond with her when your voices harmonized and you will no longer hear that harmony except in your dreams. A fine tribute to her life that only a poet can do.

poem-tribute for Emily, and the feeling of sadness
in it...makes us realize that there is s certain aloneness
that she left behind...but also a lot of true love that

What tragedy, Regis! No wonder you are in denial, but even so you have managed to communicate both her radiance and your understandable great affection for her. I trust she is at rest and able to give voice to her indomitable spirit. These things are so difficult to come to terms with and you seem to have had more than your fair share of loss.
