Hi Regis, I have been having a hard time keeping up with all the posts on this site. I work full time and holidays are the worst times for us counselors. I do get your emails and I do try and come and read and comment., hugs Kathy
I think your paranoia is premature. I have noticed, of late, postings have slacked off greatly as have visits to my website. AD has even resorted to contests to get more of us to post and comment, and it's working based on what I'm seeing for Thanksgiving.
There are two culprits: first, everyone is scrambling to deal with daily trivia that keeps crowding into our lives and taking time from reading and writing. I seem to have less time to write now in retirement than I had in working full-time. Second, social media has gradually moved into most lives, taking them away from sites like this to sites that cater more to them personally, their families, political affiliations, etc.
Face it, the world keeps changing. Maybe, sooner than we may think, all writing will be reduced to shorthand texting or less than 150 characters.
If you don't hear from me again, don't worry, I'm here. It's just that I'm too tired to click on one more link today and make a comment. My apologies. ;-)

Regis, it is always a pleasure. That being said, I have been taking a break from my writing self for quite sometime doing life. I know, I know, but its a necessary evil. Input, must have input. Or, just pure laziness I suspect. At any rate, I have established a much healthier attitude at this point and procrastination be dammed! I am back! Always wonderful to see you carrying the torch for us all! Thank you Regis. May your feast be of monumental flavor to your pallet and your company be warm and happy.
