*I Can’t Help Myself* I could not help myself When I first met you And I surely cannot help myself now From falling in love with you Incessantly just so Like the sea is drawn to the moon You have always moved the tides In my heart and soul I imagine your breathing Like the waves upon the shore Of my being Spiritual and physical You are in my thoughts in the midst of day And in the depths of my dreams Like the lovely snowflakes I so long for I will fall gently to you always And hope to melt into you Because I love you © Régis Auffray
