funny you should write this today. Last night I could not fall asleep. My mind would not shut off. I am surprised that I was able to go to work today!!

It would be nice if reading your poem would put someone with insomnia to sleep. My insomnia usually comes in the middle of the night with some trepidation about what I thought or actually did when confronting.

Very sound advice, Regis. You are right, We must drain our mind of thoughts and surrender to the bliss of oblivion. Many people suffer from insomnia, so your poem is a timely posting.
Oh how I can relate.If it's not my mind refusing to shut down, it's the aches and pains that won't let me get comfortable. here's hoping for a good nights sleep.
