This poem is based on seven prompts that Lena Kovadlo (also a member of AD) provides each week on her writing site, "Creative Writers' Spotlight" on Facebook. I used all seven prompts to come up with this "poem."

Love Knows no Distance A rainy day Can make one feel Cold and lonely Caught in a storm On a day of darkness But behold The first snowflake Wafting down slowly Lands on me I think of you Of course It is your sweet kiss Pure and angelic Down from heaven Many say this is a love I can’t have But love does not measure distance And I feel your love From afar As I know you feel mine © Régis Auffray

That is a sweet poem about your view of a single snowflake as a way of brightening your longing for a love that is not within reach.

Another prompt that has nothing to do with writing is, "One in the hand is worth two (and perhaps many more) in the bush." ;-)
