A Witch Named Nell
There once was a young witch named Nell,
Who lived in the town of Carmel;
When things went awry,
She would always try,
To fix them by casting a spell.
A Gal Named Heather
There once was a gal named Heather,
Who rode in all kinds of weather;
On her fancy scooter,
She encountered a suitor,
Who loved the texture of her leather.
A Lass Named Shirley
I once met a lass named Shirley,
Who always got up most early;
At the crack of dawn,
She was always drawn,
To a place where I’d be most surely.
A Lady Named Hurley
There once was a lady named Hurley,
Who was strong and could be quite surly;
When she went to the bar,
She would often spar,
With a biker by the name of Curly.
A Fellow Named Bert
There once was a fellow named Bert,
Who bragged he could never be hurt;
But when challenged to fight,
By a lass named Snow White,
He was soon under his mother’s skirt.
Wanda the Panda
There once was a fellow from Uganda,
Who came into town with a panda;
Some folks were amazed,
And others quite dazed,
When the panda stated, “My name is Wanda.”
A Gal Named Monique
There once was a gal named Monique,
Who had an exotic boutique;
She stocked potions and spices,
That cured many vices,
Folks thought her boutique “magnifique.”
A Lass Named Simi
I once met a lass named Simi,
Who insisted she wanted to see me;
She gave me her address,
I donned my best dress,
And I met her in Chicoutimi.
A Kung Fu Fighter
I once met a Kung Fu fighter,
Who wished to become a writer;
I taught her techniques,
Employed by the Greeks,
And now her prose is that much tighter.
A Fellow Named Rob
I once met a fellow named Rob,
Who introduced me to his heartthrob;
Her name was Mimi,
She was pleased to meet me,
She left Rob because he was a slob.
