Waiting, yes, familiar feeling, Regis, and you capture that longing so well.

I am waiting for the day when I can hear you at a BC poetry reading,
my friend. Worth waiting for, I'd say .....

This could be read two ways. First, that she would come back to you and you would sail off into the sunset with her. Or second, you would leave this world and join her in a world that your mind has created where both of you would live happily ever after.

The poem I will post tomorrow as a similar, dissimilar theme, Hard Road.

A FINE WORK, REGIS AND I GET IT. I CAN RELATE AND UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM. I'M JUST GLAD THAT ALL WE NEED 'HE' WILL GIVE US TO ENDURE UNTIL 'HE' DECIDES TO TAKE US HOME. A truly well expressed poem. I feel your emotion. We all have this feeling now Regis. Yes, sometimes I even wonder when? Oh, but you know that God needs us to be on earth because he has a mission for us to do the things HE wants us to do, and when our purposes are completed we will leave to go home, being satisfied.

I am deeply unhappy living where I do and yearn for the day when I can finally return to where my heart remains. Reading this poem, I feel as if you have reached into my soul and withdrawn a shade of its essence.
