An Alien from Space
An alien from the far reaches of space,
Came to Earth to meet the human race;
Her optimism,
Turned to pessimism,
And she soon vanished without a trace.
A Self-Appointed Priest
There once was a self-appointed priest,
Who came into town for a feast;
He ate like a hog,
Drank way too much grog,
Got drunk and acted like a beast.
A Cowboy Named Dave
There once was a cowboy named Dave,
Whose methods were odd but quite brave;
He asked local hustlers,
To help him nab rustlers,
Then he locked the whole lot in a cave.
A Lass Named Nellie
There once was a young lass named Nellie,
Who often frequented the deli;
She partook of its foods,
While in one of her moods,
And soon noticed her growing belly.
A Couch Potato
There once was a couch potato,
Who met a luscious tomato;
Both were diplomats,
Not aristocrats,
They worked for NATO quoting Plato.
A Fellow Named Ron
There once was a fellow named Ron,
Who created a robot named Bron;
It was very bright,
It did everything right,
So, Ron made another named Tron.
A Lass Named Nicole
There once was a lass named Nicole,
Who came face to face with a troll;
With her martial arts skills,
She gave many great thrills,
When she sent the troll back to his hole.
A Fellow Named Bart
There once was a fellow named Bart,
Who was constantly pulling a cart;
In it was a lady,
Whose name was O’Grady,
It is said they were never apart.
A Candidate
A candidate whose mascot was a goat,
Went about clad in nought but a coat;
But the wind blew him bare,
Folks saw that he was fair,
So, he sought to solicit their vote.
A Kitty from the City
There was a kitty from the city,
Who could sing many a ditty;
She was very smart,
Knew each part by heart,
This kitty was also quite witty.

By he way, have you got an agent or some sort of publicist promoting your work. If so, how's it going? Have had three agents in the past who were disappointing. Maybe I wasn't patient enough. Would appreciate any suggestions you might have.
