A love story

Beneath the heavens
That only could I know
Lay you sleeping in God's good will
Somewhere in the night before
Leaves me standing, yearning more
And keeps me from the creaking door

Grace has fallen sleeping still
Beneath the painted window sill
Covered by a sheet of white
That holds the murmurs in this night

I did taste so soft and sweet
That leaves me standing in this light
Gathering all my thoughts to sow
Basking in the afterglow

I hear the stillness screaming life
I see the darkness all around
But gathered all my thoughts to sow
Has fallen too, and sleeping still

Beneath the painted window sill
That leaves me standing in your light
Ever still, this blinding night

Very beautiful, with a hint of sadness woven gently within, excellent.

This is so softly written and beautiful even the scribed became gentle to my eyes!!

Tender with a darker touch ...but stil very tranquil!!

I think this poem suffer from the forced rhymings. I had a hard time catching its meaning. Perhaps re-writing it in a free form could do a much better deliverance of its message.

...the above is only my own 2 cents opinion...
