Thoughts
Since I remember
I suppressed my big dreams
“What if they would not come true ?”
I was reasoning fearfully,
“In the end I’ll be disappointed and hurt,
And hurt I cannot endure”
I did not know, then,
The laws of the Universe:
The bigger the dreams
The greater the rewards
The Universe will provide
If you occupy your mind with negative thoughts,
Fear, Blame, Guilt,
Anger and Resent
That’s what you’re going to get back
If, on the other hand
Decide to fill your thoughts
With Love, Compassion, Hope
That’s what the Universe will provide
Back to you!
Some call it karma. You have touched on the essence of good living where the rewards at the end are satisfaction in doing the right thing and reaping the benefits.
